Honeymoon in Hawaii
For our honeymoon we flew out of Seattle after the wedding and went to Oahu, HI. We got a steal of a deal and stayed at various Military vacation spots for pretty cheap and we also got discounted prices for things to do around the island. We stayed in 3 different locations and drove all over. We really scored on tickets to go on a submarine tour in the ocean, that was a lot of fun. Maybe not so much the ferry boat ride out into the ocean (Eleasa got a little woozy). Once we were in the submarine and dove down we saw all kind of tropical fish, eagle rays, SEA TURTLES, wrecked ships, and even a plane. We also went up to the Polynesian Cultural Center for a day. It was so humid and sticky... yuck! We had a lot of fun walking around to each village though, and then we went to the luau at the end of the day. While we ate they did a show and at the beginning they asked how many people where there for their birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoon etc. There were a few couples there on honeymoons and we all got up on the stage and they played a Hawaiian love song and had us all dance. Everyone just hugged and side-stepped around in a circle and oh no... not Donavon. He was all over the stage and the guy hosting the show asked if we were from Dancing with the Stars. (Embarrassing). We lounged a lot on the beaches,
our favorite being Sandy Beach, the most dangerous. The waves were gigantic and tons of people were body boarding. Donavon had a lot of fun doing that (and also came home with his shorts full of seashells...) Unfortunately we were there after the full moon and the beaches were covered with annoying box jellyfish. One of the places we stayed had the best beach but was COVERED and they burrow down into the sand! Overall it was a great trip and we really enjoyed it! Definitely walked a lot!

Sandy Beach...been there. Natalie and I pretty much got wiped out at that spot! BIG WAVES! I didn't know the moon was a factor with the jelly fish?
