Today marks the day of a "new" Army life for us. Donavon has officially started Recruiting for the US Army. For the next few years he won't be acting as a Combat Medic, just a Recruiter. If things go well, maybe he'll convert, maybe not. Who knows, maybe we'll leave Active and go with the Reserves or Guard or something. The only thing you can count on is.... nothing! It is the Army we're talking about!
We really know nothing of this new world. Sure we had lots of advice, more unsolicited advice than anything but we'll just have to tackle this together and we'll figure things out for ourselves.
Its new, exciting and a little uneasy but I'm sure we'll get ourselves into our 'routine' soon enough.
So if anyone wants to join the Military, come see us - or if you know someone who is interested pass it along.
