Its almost torture having to wait 9 months for your bundle of joy... Ya the first trimester flew by but now it seems its going by slow. Our next Dr. Appt is on March 24th - at that time we'll schedule "The Big Ultrasound" to see if its a boy or girl. That will be im guessing mid April. Im nervous to schedule it too soon and the tech not being able to tell but we want to know!!! Donavon wants a boy - he thinks we need a boy first so that he can take care of any little sisters
and he's already had the name picked out for the last 20+ years.... Isaac Donavon. He's always loved the name Isaac and wants a boy named Isaac. Eleasa's not that crazy about the name but it can grow on ya i guess. Eleasa always wanted a REAL baby Jane - she had a baby doll growing up that was 'baby Jane'. Well marrying a Strain kinda ruined that plan... Jane Strain??? ehhh... Donavon's mom keeps saying 'ya but she wont be a Strain forever, she'll get married one day!' i just keep thinking ya, BUT the years that she molds and develops and goes through school she will be JANE STRAIN - the years that really count as far as im concerned... I just cant do that to someone... Also alot of the family names that Eleasa really likes are already in use by his family... BAH! Eleasa does like Isabelle or Isabella or Olivia too though... ANYWAYS.... we want our baby NOW! Eleasa sat in front of a new baby in church today and it made her jealous! We're getting pretty excited about this whole thing - well except the actual birthing process.... now that really scares the you know what out of Eleasa.... Donavon's delivered a baby before and just asks that he have a face mask to hide the horrid smell.... Since we do live so far away from LDS hospital I do find some relief in that my husband has done it before and is a trained professional and wont run away screaming. It does worry me that the "trained professionals" at the EMS here are not people i'd trust whatsoever! Thank goodness for the soldiers because they'd have to be doing it, not those "medics" at the EMS... ugh.... once again, VERY thankful Donavon is a medic. Although it might be wishful thinking that this baby will just POP out in a matter of minutes in my pants along the side of the road but Eleasa is thinking this is going to be more of a 20+ hour process and we'll have plenty of time to drive to the hospital... But hey, a girl can wish right? When Eleasa gets bored at work or when Donavon isnt home there isnt much else to do at Dugway so she surfs the internet.... Dreaming of
baby... Look at all these cute clothes! They even make Baby Scrubs! How cute! Daddy and baby could have a matching outfit! *sigh* just too excited...

So, anytime you are lonely for a baby just give me a call...I'll fill you in on the latest excitement of motherhood and maybe help you enjoy childless life for a few more months. Hey I'll even let you borrow a baby or two if you want. Just Kidding! Motherhood is a lot of fun and very rewarding! Just remember, it will never be just the three (I'm counting Diesel) of you again, so enjoy the phase of life you are in now. Especially, if you are feeling great being pregnant.
The biggest adjustment for me when we had Emi was getting home from somewhere late at night and thinking I can't just go climb in my bed, I've got to get this little person in her bed first!
Nice, i wish i get those for my child haha.
